It looked amazing before it curled its head in, but sadly it knew I was there and pretended to be a much more
ferocious beast than it was. A beautiful caterpillar though

Love this, Rita, isn't it a Tussock Moth caterpillar? I came across one last year for the first time. Lime green and black with wild-looking punk bristles. I found a pic on Google.
