Equipment check

By Relic01
To check my cameras focus/etc, I took the clock I made out of a 2011 Martin Canadian Criminal Law book and used it as a subject. Range is 3 ft, 1/15s-f12.0-0.0 ev-ISO 200-13.3mm. The focus point was at the centre of the arms. Thoughts?

Well there doesn't seem to be anything resembling the previous issues.
A subject like this with well defined text and features is ideal for showing up anything odd as you know what the picture should look like.
After reading your previous post you appear to have set your camera to record the best possible image, though even with the 'lower quality' settings I wouldn't have expected the results you were getting.

Oh, and good clock-making skills!

Thanks Keith, As Mr Dudler suggested previously, I also adjusted the image size to Large 16:9 and quality to "fine"

This looks very good.

This seems to have worked well.

Let's hope the problems don't recur...

there's no problem as such, Mike.. I have 3 cameras and each produces different images.. and I love them all..
While shooting the images, just need to focus on the main issues.. because everything will be properly reached in the Photoshop later..
I believe, at this point of time - attention, details and subject matter matters more.. we will reach the desired quality level with the Photoshop later.. and it is for all the cameras..

it is also to see the commitment.. which is exhibited by how far we can go and what trouble we can take to grab a photo..
at the end of the day, if I feel tired, I can assume - ok, I won't take this much trouble because I have shot the photo anyway.. but because I value it, I would give all effort to secure it.. I don't want to leave things on chances.. These things - this passion is what is important for a beginning.. we can't reach perfection under certain situations, like here, indoors.. there are inherent practical limitations.. outside things will change and see light very clearly..
