I think Nezih has summed things up really well, Rende.

Unusual for sure.....not sure where the window is, though. It all looks pretty solid to me. Mesmerizing in its content though. Wonderfully crafted photo.

That looks like the kind of glass once let ino pavements used to filter light into cellars: thick, almost armour-plated, 6cm squares containing the bottom of a bottle - or so it looked - the squares bound together in a stout metal frame.
The arrangement here fills an arrow-slit window or embrasure. An infill with brick instead would probably admit more light to the interior Blush
. . . . but it makes for a wonderful contrast!

Almost lost in its surroundings. Well spotted, Rende!

The builder adds some pleasant little touches to a simple window, the purpose to be secure and allow some light in, and always with a touch of design lacking in some modern utility buildings.

I'm sure the person who built this would be pleased that you found it and gave it some measure of their achievement.

I like the window here Rende and the patterns and shapes in the brick work but I have to say that the graffiti has rather spoiled the look of this building for me. Still a beautiful image well seen and photographed by you.
