Goodbye

I took some pictures of my daughter's older cat yesterday.
A 17 year old Maine Coon - the gentlest, most loving cat I have ever met.
She had a vet's appointment yesterday and never came home.
Her internal organs had basically given up and it wasn't fair to put her through another battery of tests when we all knew the results.
The grandkids are devastated.
