Beauty & the Beast

By RFphotography
An image of the cement works on the Northern edge of Hope Valley. This was taken on Monday 28th, a stunning morning with magical mist in Hope Valley. The cement works certainly adds a focal point, but it is a bit of a blot on the landscape.

Martin.W posted a fantastic shot of this yesterday. My image was taken from Owler Tor.

Thanks for looking.

Seems to be a bit of a week so far for the Castleton Cement Works. This must be a very long lens or a severe crop to reach it from Over Owler. Love that mist in th foreground.

I really like this. Excellent use of the telephoto lens in this landscape.

Thanks guys. the lens used was a Canon 70-200mm L + teleconverter. I was amazed at the reach it gave.

Thanks again
