    Hi Paul,

Really loving the composition and idea for the big stopper but I'm with Adam on that soft quarter on the left. It is quite strange though as it doesn't look like diffraction. The whole left quarter from top to bottom suffers making me wonder if it might be the filter combination itself? I think to manage a workable print from this one you might have to experiment with an 8x10 crop which would leave only a small strip of softness on the left.

    Hi Martin,

Welcome to EPZ mate! I love the depth and interest in this image. My personal favourite bit is the couple holding hands where I cannot see the person on the right. Somehow it adds a bit of mystery to the shot that I find intriguing.

    Looking forward toseeing many more!

Hey now, I really like this a lot. The side lighting really models the trees nicely but I guess it is the very subdued and cold colours that really draws me in. Very fine art.

Ahh, the Caribbean, er wait...Scotland!?!? Certainly not the normal Scottish fare. Nicely presented Dougie.

  • Hi Petr,

This is a really solid gallery with some absolutely wonderful images. A good many of these are quite underated in my opinion. Nicely done!

  • Hi Ronnie,

I am so interested to try to make some decent floral imagery this year and your PF is one I will be referring back to frequently both for inspiration and ideas. Sincerest thanks for your encouraging words on my latest upload. You are certainly one of the nicest people here on EPZ and your encouragement is massively appreciated.

Best of light to you mate!

  • Proof is in the puddin' mate. I wouldn't give up something you do so well and which produces such excellent results.

  • Great images Kris! Not only are you super photographer but you have a true mastery of post-processing. Some of those sky replacements are absolutely top class professional work!

    I'll return again and again.

  • Hi David,

I am over the moon to see an artist of your caliber here on ePhotozine. I am a huge fan of both your imagery and your writing and I have read both Landscape Within and Landscape Beyond at least a dozen times. I take one or the other on nearly every trip I take for inspiration. I absolutely love the simplicity of your incredibly unique compositions and especially your intimate landscapes. Badwater in particular has always been one of my favourite landscape images of any artist. I look forward to seeing more wonderful works that don't slavishly subscribe to the "rule" of thirds.

Online galleries are an interesting world and, as you have well seen, are far more based on social interaction than actual photographic merit. I console myself that that is clearly why nobody has recognized my utter genius Wink

Great to have you here David and please forgive some of the feedback you will receive. I hope you're thinking about another book.

  • Hi Paul,

I've been referring to your portfolio since I got my first camera back in 2006 - way before I joined EPZ. Your perfectly balanced compositions and the ever present sense of drama in your imagery is what sets you apart. Best of light to you for many, many years to come!

  • Hi Andrew,

Your nature and close up imagery is some of the best of this genre on EPZ or any online gallery for that matter. Top shelf, professional quality work here mate.
