The Haunted House

By Richard_OSullivan
This is another photograph from my little outing to lower slaughter at the weekend. As soon as I photographed this house I thought it would make a great hunted house photograph but wasn't really sure how to achieve the effect.
I think I've achieved what I set out to do but would love some feedback.
I also have uploaded the original image so you can see how I have changed it.

Thank you
Rick

V1 is an excellent image with contrast and brightness nicely increased to the perfect point. V2 is under exposed to me - was that intentional to retain all highlight detail, or did you get the spot on the wrong bit - the stonwork.

I did want to keep it fairly dark as I thought the lower tones would add to the eeriness of the end image. I wanted it to look as lonely as possible

I think its a good job Richard. Ive loaded a mod where Ive given it a darker overall effect by using a warm great duo tone conversion in Photoshop
