Sheltering under the Gods

By richardwheel
I'm in a mean and moody mood today!

Sometimes when out and about I can't help myself when I see things like this - they just have to be photographed.

I have no idea what it is, it looks like a shelter but I wouldn't fancy spending a night under it.

Cheers for having a look...

Has the cross got any significance?
Well done on the HC

I haven't got a clue Chris, it scarred the poo out of me when I saw the shelter hole though!

I'd be interested to know myself if it had any significance (or what it was there for in the first place)

cheers guys and thanks pete! didn't see the award at first.

Great shot.Well done on the HC.Love the title /looks a bleak area.

The cross and the ruin / cairn (?) work perfectly with the drama of the land and sky.

I'd rather be under this than out in the open on a wet and cold night! Great light and very dramatic.

Great Shot with great use of lighting
I like the tones and colours very much. It looks like an oil painting.
