I like the calmness that this photo has, pastel shades are good too.

I think this is a beautiful shot, lovely colours, well composed with the rocks, clouds and rays all pointing towards the setting sun. I'd have been delighted to have taken this shot.

the rocks are pointing in the wrong direction for me.....but then I am a fussy bugger!!

If I'd have got a jcb, I could have moved them into a better position Wink

You can only photograph what is there and they still point you to the sun and colour. and the mountains in the distance make a lovely backdrop.I like this it is very good.

I love the sky and composition, but on my monitor, the rocks and weed look a little noisy. Perhaps you've had to bring them up from too far under exposed?

Dave

I don't mind the angle of the rocks actually, they point your eye straight at the headland on the left and that then leads you back in to the little island and the sun in the centre and beyond. For me at least it really works.........did anybody mention those wonderful rays of light too Wink

Not half!! I would have been well chuffed with this, as I suspect, would most of us, and I think Den summed it up beautifully.

A frame of two halfs. Like the definition in the sky and the colours, but the bottom half is just not quite doing it for me. Still gets a vote for overall effect though.
