Taken at Riby in Lincolnshire. I had seen these hay bales a couple of days earlier and decided to go and photograph them but the weather looked like it was going to turn for the worse. I decided to risk it and went a bit earlier than intended. When I got there a tractor was collecting them up so if I'd waited I probably would have missed them. I had to wait for the brief moments when the sun shone through the clouds to get the light I wanted. f16, 1/25sec, 11mm, iso100.
