Cracking image Steve, nicely panned and great choice of shutter.

Thank you boys, much appreciated
Most of us who don't do this kind of photography are inclined to think, "Oh, another of these motorbike photos", not realising the skill involved. Looking at the EXIF, your cool use of ISO, aperture and shutter speed tells its own story. Very well captured!

Nice shot of Brookes. What a difference the weather makes. Brands was so dull.

Thanks for the comments, photowanderer, thank you for your comment and taking the time to look at the method behind the shotI will expand a little.
For years i shot with a 7d and a 120-300 f2.8 and so I was spioled by big aperture pulling in the light, recent kit "upgrade" to a 1ds MkIII after getting a sigma 50-500 real cheap showed BIG flaws in my technique I have had to re-learne mixing iso, shutter and aperture to best effect and unlike many I think nothing of upping the iso first, shots from this weekend went up to 800 iso and as low as 100 when conditions allowed.
I also used my 120-300 2.8 with my 1.4 converter and for the first time got sharp shots also which gives me even more scope.
