Taken in Isolation 22

By woolybill1
The nearby play park may have been closed but the surrounding recreation ground remained open. A long lens permitted a creative approach from outside the railings and a not unattractive view towards the north-west across the Tyne valley and Hadrian's Wall country.

N.B.: The camera had been stored minus battery and the clock defaulted to a date nine years earlier. I can't be bothered to reset it Smile

Thanks to everyone who popped in to view yesterday's empty notice-board, voted and commented, and especially to Ollie and Graham for their revered user awards.

‘The camera clock defaulted’....wish I’d thought of that one....although the camera was my antique canon 7d!! GrinGrinGrin

Similar to the climbing frame near us.
Do you know that it is all one piece of rope?

How to reduce your age by 9 years...sounds like a TV programme 😁😁

Interesting take on a landscape 😁

Thanks, everyone.
Roy - that's some feat. I didn't know, but am not surprised. Thank you!
And Leo - during the lockdown I have appreciated more and more how fortunate we are to live where we do; this recreation ground/play area is no more than ten minutes' walk from home.

The confusion of the frame (Gov) and the calm of the countryside(Science), a bit like the situation we all find ourselves in at the moment . I know Bill a bit deep for a Monday Smile Excellent image btw Smile

I was thinking along similar lines to Alfie_P - the tangled frame looks like the guidelines and roadmap of the government instructions...

Like you, Bill, we feel very pleased to be living in a rural environment and have nature all around us...

So many twists and turns, Bill. Much like the pandemic.

A reminder of the tangled mess we are all in now. Great composition Bill - love the backdrop of the rolling countryside and sky.

This makes a striking, yet unexpected image.
I agree we are blessed to be living in an area with beautiful scenes all around, and fresh air.

Reminds me of "What a Tangled Web we Sometimes Weave" or is that our present government? Good open landscape as a backdrop.

Makes me feel all tied up and not able to go anywhere. Not even out in my own yard. Well done Bill.
