Taken in Pinery Provincial Park after sunset, this log was shining with the sun rays and I thought should not be missed. I wanted to capture this log bathing in this peaceful evening in sunshine. I am uploading three versions of this image. One warmed tone, normal and a b&w version. Really interested in knowing the views of people here.

Two very good images think V1 just gets it, but both are very nice.

Nice one. I like the way the tree trunk cuts diagonal across the image. This side of the tree is well lit but just enough for the viewer to see some detail. I like all 3 versions in preference as they are exhibited. 1 - 2 - 3.

What a wonderful sight you have captured. All work well, but I think V1 is the clear winner for me followed by V3.

Lovely series with so much potential that I couldn't resist tinkering with them and producing mods - not better, just different.

What a lot of mods. V! for me and leave it alone. B&W does not work here - it is the soft pastel colours which makes this image so good.

I actually prefer V2 and it's cooler colours but as Paul says, I don't think altering it will improve it in any way.
