Don't Jump

Taken at Dunorlan Park in Tunbrimdge Wells. I liked the light diffusing through the trees and falling on the figures in the fountain. They really came to life and it felt like on of the figures was consiidering an improptu suicide

How you doin' Richard?

Here's a couple of ways to resaturate a pic 1. The easiest way is to (open pic) click image (at the top), go to adjustments, then desaturate. After that click the history brush in the tools palette on the left, then brush the colour back in.
2. Open pic. Go to layer (at the top), then new adjustment layer, hue and saturation. Drag the saturation bar all the way to the left (making it B&W), click ok. Use the brush in the tools palette, make sure the foreground colour is black (just press the letter D on your keyboard to reset it, then paint back the colour. Click layer, then flatten image when your done.

Don't know what photoshop you have, but this is what I do.
Hope it helps you some.

Martin.

Martin,

That's excellent advice - thank you very much indeed. I needed just that effect for something I took at the weekend and it's made it immeasurable more striking.

I don't suppose you could tell me how you got the 100% background of max?

Cheers again.
