This Cypress has the distinction, possibly, of being the most photographed tree in the world. Certainly when I was there coach loads of tourists were dropped off for their regulation 15 minutes at this tree. This is at the iconic 17 Mile Drive, Pebble Beach, near Monterey, California. That mist you can see on the horizon is the approaching marine layer which was much in evidence over the two days I had free whilst visiting the area on business. More to follow from this area which if you are ever lucky enough to get here is well worth a visit. Great photographic potential when the mist doesn't blanket everything and everyone.
