Lighning Streak

This was shot in the middle of a thunder and lighning storm, the rain was absolutely torrential with no protection, this was literally lift camera shoot and hope, I am delighted with the result and the camera survived. The loco is an A4 'streak' 60009 Union of South Africa on the Cumbrian Mountain Express

Fantastic shot. It's really nice to see a different shot of a steam loco. This has a sense of power to it that I really like. Well done for staying out in the storm.
The sense of speed, the angle of the photo, you are to be credited with a big pat on the back this photo is brill.Grin Tony
