number 1 is particularly good, its the choice of aperture and that orange lamp lens working so well with the dark plume which balances the smaller (perspective) engine with the FG larger engine, excellent work and one for my shortlist.

There are so many to admire : 1, 4, 12 and 17 have a slight edge for me, but you could have spun these out for days without anyone getting bored!

A great series of images, you must have had a brilliant day's togging. I particularly like 6 and 17. 17 has excellent atmosphere and leaves something intangible to the imagination that really appeals to me.

A wonderful series of images. I like the way the far engine is partly hidden and has a dark plume of smoke in version 1 making an excellent composition. Numbers 10 and 15 also great compositions.

Thanks for all comments and thanks to Pete and Nic for the HC and award. Taking these required no effort at all just pure pleasure - ignoring the missed nights' sleep and long drive Smile

Would like to thank again everyone at NYMR and particularly Andy (Hailwood) and Graham (Greysta)
