All Wet in Woundale

By robs
It's my old ruin on the slopes above Woundale again! Today it was a very, very wet, windy and wild day though. I jumped out the car, ran to the site, grabbed a set of 3 bracketed frames and ran back to the car before I had a chance to get too wet!..The light was terrible - almost non-existant... as a result I resorted to a HDR blend of the three shots done in Photoshop's built in processor as I had no success with NIK on this occasion. The resultant image didn't work for me in colour, but converted to mono and given a white anti-vignette and I am delighted with the result!

Well, your attempt at being a rain ninja has certainly netted you a very good image indeed! I love the processing here, it really suits the subject and the composition. It's the kind of image I could imagine straight out of a book about 'ye olden days in the dales' Smile

Thanks Tanya Smile

It's one of those images that doesn't look much in a thumbnail but works better the larger it displays I think!
