Blackrock Cottage in the Rain

By robs
The weather man lied.

Last night's forecast on the beeb was for glorious sunshine, so I packed myself up ready for a run out to Glencoe. The weather was stunning up until Glen Dochart when it all went downhill... decided to push on anyway, and take the "Blackrock Cottage photo" since I have never got around to taking one Wink Figured it may be a bit different to the usual!

a very idyllic scene, love the golds and how it contrasts against the stark white of the cottage

The FG detail is astounding as are the tones. I like the way the you can just see the start of the mountain through the mist. Excellent image.

Wonderful shot, showing just how this part of the world can look. Great details and colours, and I like the foreboding sky behind.

Lovely shot Rob. The one good thing about the rain is that it brings out the colours beautifully.

They don't call Glencoe mean and moody for nothing, nice real image of the cottage, so much better than the choclate box images.
