The Railway at Lakeside

I tried a slightly different take on the train running on the Haverthwaite to Lakeside Railway today. I wanted to keep as much of the foliage as possible to set the scene, hence the "portrait" orientation.

I am sticking with black and white though! I am trying an experiment of shooting in Mono and seeing how that influences my shots (although the RAW file still retains all the colour information if I want it - but my screen and viewfinder both show the mono version as I work).

not sure if it's just me ... , the foliage on the right looks like a big splash of water being sprayed up by the train and coaches maybe I need my screen or eye calibrated Grin Grin Grin

right through the nature.. gliding with his glory and great name..

nice in mono.. very well photographed..
