Cwm Idwal

By robway
This was meant to be a panorama shot of Cwm Idwal and is made up of 8 images all hand held. I couldn't get the size right to qualify as a panorama but if there is any double vision it is a combination of not using a tripod and the amount of alcohol consumed over the weekend in mourning for Wrexham's latest result and imminent relegation out of the Football League !!

Cwm Idwal is like a large amphitheatre with four of the Welsh 3000 feet peaks looking down, Tryfan, Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach and Y Garn with Pen yr Ole Wen on the opposite valley.

If you have time then this really does have to be viewed LARGE

Wow nailed..... what a fantastic day out you had, cos everyone of this latest series is just truly amazing. The clarity in that water and the drama on the mountains is just magnificent. Poor old Wrexham, if photography was their sport you'd be their superstar and in the premier league. Stunning work John.

Oh by the way shortlisted again.... you're starting to get on my nerves now, upload some rubbish for a change. (There were some swear words in there but had to take them out)

Handheld - wow! I'm extremely impressed given that panoramas are already a bugger with a tripod!

Not easy image to record John.
Hand held in that light takes some doing but you did a good job.

I would say this is one fine shot for being handheld. The alcohol if anything enhanced the creativity.
