Hi Rod, I really like the composition, dof and details that you've got here. But I personally found the image a little dark in terms of lighting. I tried to put the photo through PS and did layer adjustment on levels and curves, and found that it makes the bird look even more "livelier", whilst retaining the details. If you are interested, I could email it to you for you to have a look. =)

It is a little flat in the lighting Rod but theres a lot of detail there and I tuned into the delicacy/sharpness of his beak!

Thanks Dave. Yes, I was surprised at the sharpness of this new camera of mine but I should have increased the brightness/contrast.
