I'm not too sure about my composition or my depth of field on this shot. I think the whole shot looks too tight and should have more space around it. Let me know what you think.

Yes I think I would agree with you Rod about having more space around it but I like the dof.
Wondered where you'd disappeared to!lol.

The shot looks good with this itght crop but I would have prefered a greater depth of field if possible or the foreground to be more in focus and the back less.

Distracting DOF Go Digital and bracket the exposure, much cheaper that old steam film.

Welcome back Rod, hope you had a good holiday, tend to agree with elowes good crop but needs a greater dof.

I like the crop Rod, and the colours are great, dof could be greater but its still a really good image, like the idea, welcome back, hope you had a lovely holiday, click
