Town Entrance

By Rogerex
These metal cutouts have been recently erected at the 3 main entrances to one of our local towns. Each site has 5 cutouts, depicting agricultural products of the area. Wheat, lucerne (alfalfa), sheep/cattle, bees/honey, and olives. It was hard to get the sunset, and a good background with all cutouts in the picture, so I have added 1 to each side. I will print this on calendars for souvenirs to be sold in the local craft shop. Reduced to 3 colours, and power lines cloned out.

A beautiful advertisement for your town, very well captured against low sun. Good luck with the calendar.

This is great Roger and will be very effective for calender use. It has a very Japanese look/feel to it too. I have'nt quite made up my mind whether or not I like it with/without the icons either side though.

Very nice work on this, and superb that this will be on calendars.

I just read this in your PF:
"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes" (Marcel Proust).

That's where I'm at these days - looking at the same things, trying to see them differently. It's a voyage of adventure.
You make it a great day.

What a wonderful way to greet newcomers to the area! It's not only inviting, but a subtle way to inform them of the rich diversity of the area.
