African Wildlife/Nature/ All Photography

By mrjt
Hi Guys, Sorry i have not been around we had a break in at work and every thing was trashed,It's taken me ages to sort out all the mess, Any way i just hope i find all my disks.
PLAINS ZEBRA. Also known as Burchell's or Chapmam's Zebra. This stocky animal is striped with black and white and, depending on the subspecies, may or may not have 'shadow stripes' superimposed on the white stripes. I thought this image left itself open to Mono. THANK YOU ALL for your views and comments on the last image. i will get round to all ....Jack

Pictures of horses have always been popular. You have added value to your picture of horses, by photographing them in their pyjamas.

I think you have done well to choose a combination of subject distance, focal length and aperture to achieve a depth of field such that the background to your main subject has been thrown out of focus. As a result, the zebras stand out well from their surroundings, no mean feat considering their stripes are camouflage.

If I were to criticise, I would suggest that, In my opinion, I think you may have been a little too aggressive with your cropping. If I were you, I would have probably zoomed out a tad, to include all of both zebras
stunning shot !!!!!
