  • Katahdin Range

A fine landscape with a touch of autumn colouring amongst the conifers.

  • Autumn cactus

Perhaps Christmas comes every earlier each year for your cactus, Dave: the seasons are all mixed up these days.
Nice frame filler and interesting lighting.

  • Autumnal Rhododendron

Beautiful shot of these autumnal leaves with fine detail captured.
    Fills the frame very nicely.

  • Head to Head

It dos seem a rather gentle encounter, but made more impressive by your low viewpoint.

  • Your portfolio has so many fine Lakeland scenes, all captured in fine composition and under such different light situations.
I am sure the local tourist board would love so many of your shots........they are certainly a delight to view and learn from.

  • Just had another squint through your recent postings and I have to say I do like your floral/rose images: you have some really very beautiful shots there.
  • Had another chance to look through some of your more recent portfolio pages this evening, and I have to admire your ability to capture landscapes so perfectly.
    Beautiful work all round.
  • I have enjoyed viewing some of your more recent postings this evening and I have to say I was delighted with what I saw.
You have some really lovely images and you should be proud of them, Eileen.......I would were they mine.

  • I have always been interested in capturing fungi at this time of the year, and so I was delighted to come across your portfolio following your commenting on one of my attempts at this subject today.
You have some marvellous fungal images, with each subject looking so pristine. Up here in my local park the Fly Agaric become pitted even when immature and by the time they are fully developed
they look tatty and much less photogenic. I shall look forward to seeing what you post in future.

  • A most impressive portfolio of butterfly images, always a pleasure to view.
Keep up the good work, Ali.
I hardly ever see a butterfly around my neck of the woods, so it's good to see that so many species are thriving elsewhere in the UK.
