Your framing had created quite tropical feel to this shot, Trev: the f/g just OOF but with the focal point in sharp relief.......very nicely done.

  • It's always such a pleasure to browse through your portfolio with it's exhaustive landscapes, any one of which I'd have been happy to call my own: you inspire one to do better and try even harder.
Keep up the excellent work and keep on providing us all with inspiration.
  • Your portfolio has so many fine Lakeland scenes, all captured in fine composition and under such different light situations.
I am sure the local tourist board would love so many of your shots........they are certainly a delight to view and learn from.

  • I have always been interested in capturing fungi at this time of the year, and so I was delighted to come across your portfolio following your commenting on one of my attempts at this subject today.
You have some marvellous fungal images, with each subject looking so pristine. Up here in my local park the Fly Agaric become pitted even when immature and by the time they are fully developed
they look tatty and much less photogenic. I shall look forward to seeing what you post in future.

  • A most impressive portfolio of butterfly images, always a pleasure to view.
Keep up the good work, Ali.
I hardly ever see a butterfly around my neck of the woods, so it's good to see that so many species are thriving elsewhere in the UK.
