"Loch Lubnaig" 2.

By RonnieAG
View of Loch Lubnaig in the Trossachs taken two days ago. I rather liked the contrast between sunlit and shadowed areas.
The sunlit area is a shoulder of Ardnandave Hill, an outrider of Ben Vane, whilst the shadowed hill centre is Meall Mor. The road north swings left below Meall Mor then turns right again ( L. Lubnaig has a double dog leg bend ), and a few miles further on passes the through Lochearnhead.

Details: ISO 400, 1/160 sec. at f/14.0

Many thanks to all who voted for and commented on my last posting, and a special thanks to Jann ("Anjantoo") for her UA which is so much appreciated. Thanks also to "samaramishra" for his Mod.

Good morning Ronnie a bright sunny day in Glasgow so far. The wind does have a bite. Good composition in this and also saturated colours love the tree on the right of the shot helps give some balance. A good one for Scottish field i feel.
Enjoy the Auumn sunlight and have a good weekend

Ronnie - the angle of this shot is what does it for me - just the right level to get the sweep of the water and foreground reeds to lead into the majestic hills...gorgeous.

hi,Ronnie nice shot the contrast in the centre of the shot takes one from the foreground rushes and shore detail through the whole length of the terrain to finish on the distant mountain before drifting through the clouds into the never ending blue sky . Hows that from the early days, thanks for past help stay well .neil and family.

Hi Ronnie, hope you are ok?
I think all the technical stuff has been said so just to add my pennyworth ~ Another cracking shot and what a beautiful location, oh to have a Crofters cabin on the side of the Loch there and enjoy taking photos for the rest of the retirement.
Take care
