Ron, thanks for your comment yesterday, most appreciated. I really enjoyed looking at your portfolio, great colour and mono, lots of variety, all great quality. I like your comments about printing. To me the print is the end goal. I'm very much missing being able to share and get comments on prints during the lockdown! It hurts to reduce a 30Mpixel file down to screen resolution, but I'm always surprised how good and sharp images can look on screen. I just miss the immersion of a large print!

Ron,
the plus side of being too busy for a while is that I come back and see what's changed, all the new work, new directions etc. I've really enjoyed catching up here, some fantastic new work adding to an already excellent portfolio - great work and thanks for sharing it

What an interesting, enjoyable gallery offered for viewing.Inspiring,exciting well worth the time spent doing so. So many photo,s to be admired and appreciated in this very large diverse collection. There seems to be something for every one in your wonderful portfolio . Not many of us are lucky enough
to be able to say that. There are so many things in it that i will not ever be able to see except in this way. Great endeavor in your capture of your subjects.

Ron,

Thank you for your comment on my Sox picture. I love your PF, you are certainly talented.
I see you came back from Switzerland in July. I was there myself in June with my family (our first time). We visited Leysin in the Alpes region. I totally agree it is a beautiful place, with many photo opportunities!

A great pic. And on a Canon EOS 1V, a great, no brilliant camera, more than a match for digital. And yes, I do own a DSLR as well.

Ron must be one of the most versatile photographers on here. Whether it's street photography, urban abstracts, African wildlife, sports or nostalgic train photography, rontear knows how to handle it. He has an incredible eye for the light. Some of my favorite photos on here are Ron's. With slide film, velvia 50 in low light circumstances. The man has got hands of steel. Always a pleasure to visit your PF Ron. Bert
