A challenging image, composition is breaking the so called rules. Space for the subject to move into, but it was the moment seized with the lens fully extended. It was that facial expression and those paws! This by far the largest bear I saw.

Rules just ask to be broken and the answer is here. Glorious image of a quiet moment in this bear's day. The eyes have it.

He looks so sad Ron. Perhaps it's because you cut his ear off. Smile

A fabulous expression Ron. He looks like the love of his life is flirting with someone else. His big paws looks so gentle in this shot. Excellent capture.............Sandy

The facial expression is wonderful; forlorn. I like the compo, I think it makes for a very effective image, eye-catching to say the least Smile

Florida is a daunting state to drive through, it's long and it's wide. Texas is worse though. We had such short time that we stayed in the Jax/St Augustine area. Lived in Ft. Lauderdale for 7 years. It was really nice to be back on those beautiful beaches! We left a day before a storm hit.

This works well for me Ron, Rules (tosh). there are still lines in there that lead you to the expression. and the raise of the eye lids is priceless........................ dave
