Winter conditions and winter coats: survival must be the aim of the game for these.
Bet your fingers about froze getting this shot, Ron.
Nice to have the two nearer the camera and rest of the group fading into the snowy backdrop.
And despite all that white you still needed ISO 800 to get a widish aperture!

No wonder the indians used their hides for clothes and blankets. A wonderful capture of life in the middle of winter for a bison. Hope you had a warm cozy room at night while in Yellowstone. One with a hottub to warm up.......Sandy

Great composition and imagery. I can almost feel the cold emanating out of the photo. It looks like a scene that could have taken place two hundred years ago.
