Eye Shadow

By rontear
London is on our doorstep so we visit regularly. The low angle of the sun during Autunm helps warm up buildings and caste long shadows. I noticed the shadow on the Shell building, took plenty of images.

I think this is really effective -- love the warm light, and the composition is excellent.

The shodow and the wheel make a great abstact form. the crop gives impact and the buildings windows give agreat contrast in shape to the image.

a good 'un

Good original shot of The Eye. My only niggle is the lines of the building don't run vertical, a bit of straightening would gave tidied things up. Notwithstanding that though, it still gets my *click*

PS Yes, I agree with Lifesnapper, and insp'eye'ered title.

Watcha Ron,
I like this, excellent abstracted image, witty title, though perhaps a little obvious, and an unusual, but very effective use of a panoramic format, just gives the image that something extra, a feeling of tension so essential in good art. Normally I'd be with Colin on the verticles; however, in this case, the verticles, whether straight or not, don't affect the overall image.
best
