Always great to see these birds. We had a very bad freeze last February and many became frozen in the shallows of the Etang de Bages and had to be rescued. You did well as they are quite difficult to get in close.

Again it's the lack of horizon that appeals, land melts into mist; plus the delicate, minimal palette.
