Twins 1944

By RosaB
Another photo in this series thankyou to all who commented on last photo.

This was taken by my cousin again in our garden in Chiswick during the war years. We were about 9mths old here?

My very first memory was of my Mother wearing this red spotted blouse when she brought our baby brother home from the hospital when we were 2yrs 1mth old! So I know the colour is correct! I had to guess at our dresses.

NB Now that I am no longer an e2 member the follow versions can no longer be seen!

V1 tinted in PS elements then enhanced with skin tone

V2 Black and white original

V3 alternative colouring. Once all the layers are finished you can quickly change the colours to what ever you want Thought I would try a blue version doesn't look right to me but some people might prefer it!

V4 Edited out the green eyes and teeth!!!!!

Be intereted to know which you prefer!

Thanks for all your lovely comments! Yes we always had a bow in our hair as we didn't have a lot of hair and we kept being mistaken for boys LOL! Smile hence the bow!

On my screen the eyes and the teeth look very green.

Whoops! LOL! Smile I can't even see that on my monitor but I know what I have done I left those areas clear so that they wouldn't turn pink with the face colouring and then when I put green in background it coloured the eyes and teeth as well! Back to the "drawing board!" watch out for V4 !!!
Thanks Phil for pointing that out!

Thats what this site is all about learning from your mistakes. I wonder how many people see them green They are barely noticeable on my screen!

I can't see the green myself.. however I think your work is stunning.. you have an excellent way with these images...lovely work.. V1-V4 for me. Like the blue but I think due to the write up I was drawn back to the red.. Love the write up as well Smile

Very well manipulated, Rosalie, green teeth or not! My screen doesn't show them as green, but then I don't have the modern technology like Phil! Carol

So sorry I mised this one. Now that you've done a V4, I like that one best. In the large version of V1, the green is visible. There is a mark on the forehead of the right-hand child and I don't think it's hair. I think you've done really well with this one, and love the expressions.
