hee hee, great expression, good catchlight in the eyes too. i was told for portraiture the rule of thumb is to go from 80mm up to 140, but who makes these rules??? lol :o)

i have also heard that 55mm is the focal length that is closest to the human eye. not sure how much truth there is to this!

i dont know how to describe why i like a photo half the time, but this is a good photo Rosie42. when the wee lad grows up this is a photo he will like too!!

superb portrait, the little guy will love it over the years.. i like the nice contrast between the little boy clothes and the background...very well exposed!!! you have quite few excellent photos in ypour portofolio
