really a superb image Susie. the sharpness on the eyes but not the nose works great, as does his fur colour against that beautiful shade of blue

Lovely, lovely shot. Composition and exposure wise it couldn't be better, and like Koen I like the fact that the DOF concentrates the viewer on her her eyes...

Lovely and sharp around the eyes, not too sure about the depth of sharpness, but that's a personal thing and it is growing on me.
Well handled, lovely lighting and spot on exposure.

Is this a beautiful vizsla? i have one too. I just put his mug shot in the happy dog challenge. He seems to be getting great or pants reviews! Not his fault, i took the shot. Anyway. Great shot.

Hi Livy - yes, a Hungarian Vizsla. Aren't they delightful dogs? This is the female of the pair with whom I share my home ... she's now commonly referred to as 'Miss June', the male as 'Mr July', following their recent appearance in a 2007 Vizsla calendar! *grin* Best of luck with your competition entry - and thank you for dropping by, it's much appreciated ...
