Another snap from the Alfama district in Lisbon. Wasn't sure about doing this in b/w because I also like the colours in the original, but the b/w won in the end.

well done on the conversion. It works well, like the shadow and the contrast.

Might have cloned out that round thingy on the bottom rhs.

I think this is a great monochrome shot - it has some nice texture in the stonework (I love stone in bw) and great shadows on the wall - however the shadows on the left of the phot seem to lack detail, although I would guess in a decent print this would not be the case.
