I've only just realised that this lens won't stop down - but f1.7 is why I bought it anyway, so it's still a valuable part of my kit.

Thanks all - I was lucky to get this, as he was jumping about all over the place, and only kept this 'pose' for a few seconds before he was off doing his sofa gymnastics again. If it looks posed though, it wasn't (he doesn't take direction well !)

Well done on a pleasing portrait and special keepsake - really like the direct gaze which so effectively engages the viewer. Works so well in b&w too ...

Me gusta mucho el leve efecto granulado de la foto, le da caracter.
La expresión del niño es muy dulce, una mirada clara y profunda, muy expresiva.
Y la postura diferente le da el toque infantil y desenfadado.
Muy buen trabajo.
