Nice and light and bright!
Noise? It's indoor sports... bump the iso and noise be damned!
Like you say, pity that you did not get the Puck, that would give this shot thta extra edge, yep there is a bit of over saturation as Dunc said, but you have got a nice dynamic pose and a great expression on wee Dunc's face, you can tell he is having fun!

This is a good action shot with the hockey player well caught in full flow. I do find the image a little too bright with no detail in the whites so I have uploaded a mod with a levels adjustment. (I just moved the middle slider to the right). The change is a subtle one.
The colour saturation is fine for EPZ as it is very eyecatching and helps the thumbnail to stand out. Andy

Thanks all, and to Dogsbody for the mod, it did improve the whites. I think I was so excited about fixing the horrible sodium cast it had originally that I maybe went a bit OTT with the whites!
I think it may have been better in landscape format, in retrospect, then I might have got the stick and the puck in, but a lot of the aim of the exercise was pretending they were fast moving puffins, who tend to only come armed with sand eels in their beaks, so I was focussing on the players to exclusion of anything else. Will have to see if I can have another go at some point.
