Sold My Soul For A Bluebell...

...or experiments with extension tubes.

Okay, I know, everyone's done bluebells before but I haven't, (barring a shot from a distance in a graveyard last year), and as I'd just been lent a set of extension tubes at the weekend I thought I'd have a play.

Really not easy this macro lark, is it?! This was day 2 of the experiments, as day 1 I ended up choosing too small an aperture and getting too little in focus, however as both were nice sunny days, I could hardly complain at *having* to go out again lol

Yep the smaller aperture works here, and you've got a nice enough background too.

This is a really nicely shaped flower and I like the way you focused on the one bell. The dof is very good. Lovely, true bluebell colour too.
