taking the plunge in professional photogography

After years of enjoying taking pictures i decided last year i was going to start doing it on a slightly more professional level as so many friends seemed to enjoy my photos i decided to start sharing with everyone. The end goal i am aiming for is setting up photo exhibitions at local centres and museums along the south coast of England and setting up a website where my images can be purchased as postcards, photobooks, prints etc

The first step in my plan was to obviously upgrade my camera as my canon was already about 6 years old and the picture quality was quite poor compared to cameras coming out today. Once i had purchased the new camera it was now time to start learning some of the features and doing little test runs. Still trying to figure out how to photoshop so this could be a highly entertaining time trying to grasp it.

Well the other day i took my first little plunge into sharing with the world and set up a facebook page for roxannekennedyphotography so people can follow me from the start and hopefully see and enjoy watching me grow from an amateur to professional over plenty of time.

check out my profile for a link to my page and feel free to come and show your support for an amateur photographer by liking and sharing
