i think if the person is moving towards right then a space on the right side, rather on the left as it is in the photo, which would have given better impact on the route.

Thanks for your comments, its really nice to be able to 'take' people to such places. somnathchatterjee, Yes you may be right, but it was a case of needs be - I had a max 10 sec on the self timer and I had to move very quickly/cautiously to get back in position. Any further back and I would have had to reposition the camera to a more central position on the ridge line and probably lost more impact/composition. Cheers!
