Herringfleet Windpump 1

By RoyBoy
This image was taken this morning at the EPZ Suffolk Meet, so kindly organised by Plossl.

We didn't get one of those beautiful colourful sunrises so typical of this location. To be fair, having checked the weather forecast, the little light we did get was a better than I expected.

I decided to take this particular image and give it a monochrome treatment with an antique type of feel.

It was great to see so many new faces and some "old ones" I had met before.

Very unusual and effective sepia tones, and I love the flock of birds occupying that empty space of sky.

This is with out a doubt my favorite photo of the meet, poss on the whole site. I love the capture the tones on the mono finish, fading out at the edges. Top marks for this image.
Was great to meet you and i look forward in the future to meeting up again.
Regards Adam..

The mono works well, I like the pinhole effect too but probably a bit less than you have done here. DId you wait for the bird flock to position themselves just right?

good to have met you,
