One Careful Owner

By RoyBoy
Whilst on route to a meeting in South London I spotted, this once lovely, Daimler parked alongside some railway arches. It had clearly been there for a long time, evident by the way the tyres had rotted. It was covered in dust but which, surprisingly, no one had disturbed. The car had taken on a sad, forlorn look but in som ways still held a little pride in itself. I was please that I had a camera in my rucksack.

a sad site indeed... I very much like the almost monochrome feel to this - and the presentation; the 'ragged' edge works well with the subject. (The numberplate would worth a few bob too!!)

There is some great textures in this image - car, wall and road. Like the border effect also.
