Hello, Daz. This is a good image with excellent dof and a nice clean background. The bits of foliage don't detract from the duck, but seem to rather enhance it and frame it. Although you have good detail on the duck, and a lovely catchlight in his eye, it's a little soft, so you need to sharpen your images after re-sizing for the site. There is a lot of space around your subject and I feel a tighter crop would add more impact. In my modification, I cropped and placed the duck off centre, then lightened the image to reveal more detail on the head, adjusted levels and then sharpened and framed.

Pamelajean, i have looked at the modification that you have done and i agree it looks a lot better, i have got another picture of Mrs Duck that i will put on later, if you can have a look at it i will try and do what you've done...fingers crossed. thanks very much, really appreciated...daz
