And now for something completely different.

The astute amongst you will no doubt have already realised that this is neither plant nor animal and it is certainly not a macro shot.

I thought I'd have a dabble with this HDR thing and so here are my first attempts. These were taken in Wiveliscombe Church, Somerset. The first 2 are different reworkings of the same image, and the rest are other shots from the same shoot.

It has been three months to the day since my last non closeup and that one really bombed so I hae a suspicion that this will do the same, but I've got to try something new.

Thanks for looking and all the help and encouragement that you have given me in the past.

I also prefer V2 for its tonal range and lighting effect.

well - what fantastic images - all of them are great, if thats HDR I should maybe try it (did you find it easy)? I am not that au fai with photography as yet but perhaps something new would be good for me as well. The lighting is great I love them all very much - well done

What an excellent set of images!

I'm very impressed with your restrained use of HDR. I've never used it but to my untrained eye you have stopped just at the point where it adds detail but doesn't look unreal. The lighting is also perfect. Like them a lot.

This is one of the best series of photos I have seen. The light in each and every one is just wonderful. I especially like your first version..the HDR makes all the difference and I agree with Jean you have perfected the art. I would love to be able to use it!

Great set of images Tim. I really like V2 as it sets the scene as it were. The shadows in V2 are fab. Thanks for your comment & encouragment ref the Cosina lens. Sylv.
