I did do a much tighter shot of another flower on the bush that I uploaded a couple of weeks ago. I deliberately left the leaf in the background as I liked the shape, and just to try something different.

Great detail Tim. Worth getting the tripod out for these macro lenses. If only we had more time !! I like the composition of this too and the contrast of the well lit flower against the diffused backround. Inclusion og the whole leaf makes it wwork well. Thanks for your encouragement Tim. Sylv.
