Pink Pearlescent

By RubberBullets
I've just got a 1.4x converter for my Sigma macro lens, but realised that I really need to tripod mount to use it, so here is the first of my proper technique macros. This flower was all over the place with the wind, and is less than 1 cm across anyway. Shame the water droplet isn't round, but I couldn't ask for everything on my first attempt could I?

Thanks for all the clicks and comments for yesterday, it really did do better than I expected.

Tim

Super capture Tim, great detail. Have you tried using a blob of gelatine, it seems to hold its shape a lot better?
Have been toying with the idea of either converters or diopters?????
Let me know how you get on with these please, would be grateful.

great pic would be nice to see it taken with the basic lens you probably used prior to the macro lens. Then had you uploaded both pics we could see and appreciate the difference/improvement - I ordered a 2+ 4+and 8+ macro filter to use with the basic lens see how that works (wish me luck)
