Twisted Petal

By RubberBullets
There are so many photos of these Daisy type flowers that I wanted to try something a bit different. I decided to twist and glue every petal on this one into a more interesting shape, it took hors so I hope you like it!

OK actually this is a lie, someone else had done it for me, so I hope you enjoy the fruits of someone else's labour, in fact they'd done the whole bush!

Anyway I don't usually do different versions but I did take a couple if this one and so I wonder which you prefer.

Thanks again for all the help and interest.

Tim

much prefer V1, i like the angle of V2 but V1 is much more striking, your DOF is excellent, however i wonder could you remove the small fluffy bit from the top center? i dont thinks its a big deal but im a bit of a perfectionist Smile

well worth a vote

fantastically unusual flower, the shallow DOF has not quite got all the extremes of the flower in, which is a shame for 1, but in two in enhances the image, so that is the most succesful image for me

The small 'fluffy bit' is in fact part of the flower, and in my opinion should not be removed! Carol

Carol, never fear, I would never cut a piece off a living plant for the sake of a photo Smile

I meant digitally remove, not physically.
