Excellent image. The composition and toning work very well for the subject.
Only other personal comment is that I find the red lettering out of character and distracting.

Your awfully close to front end of the beauty and it seems to have a sail full of wind. Hope you got out of it's way in time. Like this.

Haha we were safe the ship is ankert at this moment. We stopped because we had a man overboard excesize, and after that we were allowed to get a trip in the zodiac to take pictures

I love these shots of the Europa, a majestic subject and well captured here.

The theme music to the Onedin Line started playing in my head as soon as I saw the thumbnail Wink

ery nice well captured
Quite a difference in the size of the boats between our shots.
This ship is magnificent and so is your image of it, the amount of work that goes into a ship of this size, the layman would never understand. Like the Forth Bridge it needs maintained everyday of it's life.
Grand work this and nice toning composition and the feeling of power.

All the very best

Thanks for the comments and cliks guys

Javam - lol i get the pirate of the carebian when i do these

Douglas - Yes its truely a boat you work on its hole life to maintain. Europa she is build in 1911 originaly built as a light house ship, and is still a handsom ship because of the hard work and detecation the crews that sailed her has put in to her.
