Lovely picture - what a great idea - very symbolic.

Nicely executed idea, would make a great cover photo for an album or a wedding card.

The heavy border is a real distraction though, and I think unnecessary as the photo would carry it off without it.

Hello, Ryan. You carried out this technique perfectly. I wonder if it could be a little lighter, though, and perhaps toned, because it looks a bit dark, especially considering it is a wedding photo. I might also suggest a little more blurring around the edges. There are some excellent examples of this on the site, you might like to do a search for them.

Fantastic idea with the shade of the ring forming a heart. One thing that struck me: Since this is a wedding shot I would expect the ring to be brand new. To me it looks old and scratched. I don't know if it actually IS an old ring, like for example using a grandparens ring. Or a pattern. But I would expect it to be very new, polished and shining.

and besides the idea was in a mag but the ring was on a dictionary, i thought of a better image by using the bible on a section about love! so really it was partly my idea!!
